On the series Thou Shall Create I invite people who have created a business, platform, blog, ministry etc. are invited on the podcast to discuss their journey to making their creation and how they continue to keep God at the center.

On this episode, I speak with  Ibironke Otusile. An innovative 20 something  who created a water purification system in Lagos Nigeria. Ronke found it strange that when she visited Lagos she was not able to drink local water. Therefore she decided to partner with government agency’s and create a purification system. Her system has serviced Opebi Senior Grammar School  and she hopes to continue to build systems, which will be used throughout Lagos! Ronke gives us a vivid story of her journey. She talks about the triumphs, the frustrations and the priceless lessons learned throughout the process. She also provides practical tactics for those interested in creating projects abroad.

Takeaways:

  1. Understanding that great things take time
  2. Learning to develop patience and gratitude in situations
  3. Don’t give up on the way God wants to use you
