On this episode of The Plannter, I speak with professional makeup artist Tiyana Robinson. In 3 1/2 years, Tiyana has built a multiple 6 figure business geared towards painting the beautiful faces of women of color but also creating mentorship programs to help makeup artist be confident in their craft while increasing their business skills.
A key to her success is continuously investing in her craft. Tiyana first off shares her amazing story (and I mean amazing) of how she knew she was meant to do makeup. She then talks about how investing in classes towards the artistry and business skills have helped build her business to what it is today. Tiyana gives tips on how to invest on a budget, finding the right coach for your art/ career, finding a community to learn from and that your purpose is not meant to help only self but bless the lives of others. I was snapping my fingers the whole way through, trusts me, this will motivate you to become a master at what you do.
